| The Stats:
Chi Level: All the stats added together without any boost from items (unless said boost is stated to be permanent), so if all your stats have 10 points you have 50 chi. And if they all have 5 points you have 25 chi. Chi is typically used for rankings and is also the stamina stat. This is not to say if you run out of chi you can no longer fight but you will not be able to use chi related abilities. (This includes using guns that fire chi bullets and weapons whose abilities stem from Chi. Unless they have a chi source of their own.)
Strength: Raw physical strength. This stat determines how physically strong you are interns of lifting power. Naturally, the more lifting power you have the more your punches hurt as well. 1 point in this stat equals 7 pounds in lifting power and 1 point of damage per punch.
Defense: Defense governs how tough you are interns of how much damage you can take before going down. 1 point in this stat equals 7 points of HP capping at 15,680HP. Note that having HP remaining will not save you from obvious things such as heart removal, decapitation, or limb dismemberment. However if you cut or stab someone in a vital spot such as the veins or arteries and it is not properly protected by armor they will receive double the attack's normal damage and will lose HP equal to the half normal damage every post until they heal or bandage the wound.
Speed: How fast and agile your character moves around during battle, this determines how well they can dodge attacks. You have a natural ability to run at 5 meters per second max speed. 1 point in this stat equals a sped increase of 0.5m/s (meters per second) capping at 1,120m/s if maxed out as a Grand Master. Running at max speed can only be maintained for 3 posts before you get tired out and have to “rest” for 9 posts to be able to run at max speed. During the rest period, you can only run at 1/4 your max speed. Also during the “rest” period, you can only dodge at half your max speed.
Energy: How powerful their chi techniques are. Meaning if you have a higher energy level than your enemy, your techniques will be stronger than theirs as long as they use the same amount of chi. You must have at least 50% more energy than your enemy, (him having 100% and you having 150%) to defeat his technique. So for example, if they have 10 and you have 15, you'll defeat his technique in a clash. Also for every point in energy, your chi based attacks do 0.5 extra points of damage.
Resistance: How well you are able to defend against attacks produced or enhanced by Chi. 1 point in resistance equals 0.5 points of chi damage you can ignore, or another way of looking at it is for every 2 points in this stat you can ignore 1 point of chi damage per attack. When maxed out as a grandmaster you can ignore 1,120 points of chi damage per attack. What this means is if a chi attack uses 100 chi and you have 200 points or more in this stat the chi attack does nothing to you. However, if you have 100 points in this stat then the attack does 50 damage as you are only able to ignore half the damage of the attack.
