Fundamentals of Chi

Within about 30% of the population lies a power much greater than that which humans think they have, some think it's the soul, others simply think that we were meant to be much stronger than we are now, its origin doesn't matter however. At Rising Wolf, the students are taught how to tap into this 'magical' power. Chi comes from within and in every person lies a dormant type of chi which will be awakened through training which allows people to utilize the elements. Every characters Chi level starts at 1 and goes up to a maximum of 7, with each successive rank you attain one free technique, gaining you a maximum of seven free techniques. Upon reaching level 3 Chi as well as reaching level 5 Chi, you are able to gain another color of you're choosing. However in the case of the powerful magician class they will receive 2 chi's at start, and 1 at every rank. The Chi however, are divided in Basic elements and Advanced elements. Basic Chi elements are the ones each person can start with as your primary element and the base of all your techniques. These chi are the following:

• Raw Chi: Everyone is capable of using chi in its raw form without any elemental bondings. This is used for a variety of purposes.
  
• Red Chi: Those with red Chi are bonded with the element of fire. Red Chi is weak to Blue Chi.
  
• Blue Chi: Those with blue Chi are bonded with the element of Water. Blue Chi is weak to Brown Chi.
  
• Brown Chi: Those with brown Chi are bonded with the element of earth. Brown Chi is weak to Yellow Chi.
  
• Yellow Chi: Those with yellow Chi are bonded with the element of lightning. Yellow Chi is weak to Green Chi.
  
• Green Chi: Those with green Chi are bonded with the element of wind. Green Chi is weak to Red Chi.
  
• White Chi: Those with white chi are bonded with the element of light. White Chi is weak to Black Chi.
  
• Black Chi: Those with black chi are bonded with the element of darkness, as well as corruption. It is not natural and you can't start with this kind of chi. The existence of this kind of chi usually means the person has dark intentions. Black Chi eliminates the weakness of whatever type of chi the user originally had and changing the chi's weakness to white chi. It is usually outlined with the original color of the chi. In order to gain black chi one must kill a person that is considered a friend. For a person to be considered a friend the two must have RPed in over 5 topics together with each topic being over 1500 words total. Once black chi user reaches chi level 4 the original color gets eliminated and it becomes completely black, thus losing the powers of the original chi.
  
  Because black chi corrupts the user's original chi it can't be alternated and will always be active. Meaning you can't switch from yellow to black like their independent it will always be yellow and black. The only way to bypass this is if the black chi is gained through special means(ex: black chi behemoth, legendary item, etc).
  

After the basic chi elements, a wider horizon of elements comes as secondary elements. When reaching level 3 in Chi, you unlock a new chi color, this chi color is basically another basic chi, but by combining it with your first basic chi, you can transform that power into a new element called Advanced Elements. These chi are the following:

• Boiling Chi: This chi is generated by combining Red and Blue chi. Those with this chi are able to use steam based and boiling water based techniques.
  
• Lava Chi: This chi is generated by combining Red and Brown chi. Those with this chi are able to use lava based techniques.
  
• Plasma Chi: This chi is generated by combining Red and Yellow chi. Those with this chi are able to use plasma based techniques.
  
• Heat Chi: This chi is generated by combining Red and Green chi. Those with this chi are able to use heat based techniques.
  
• Wood Chi: This chi is generated by combining Blue and Brown chi. Those with this chi are able to use wood based techniques.
  
• Storm Chi: This chi is generated by combining Blue and Yellow chi. Those with this chi are able to use Storm based techniques.
  
• Ice Chi: This chi is generated by combining Blue and Green chi. Those with this chi are able to use ice based techniques.
  
• Metal Chi: This chi is generated by combining Brown and Yellow chi. Those with this chi are able to use metal-based techniques.
  
• Sand Chi: This chi is generated by combining Brown and Green chi. Those with this chi are able to use sand based techniques.
  
• Crystal Chi: This chi is generated by combining Yellow and Green chi. Those with this chi are able to use crystal based attacks.
  
• Spirit Chi: This chi is generated by combining Black and White chi. Those with this chi are able to create forms from nothing, and give it life.
  

The advanced elements however, aren't the limit of your Chi's true potential. After reaching level 6, your elements reach their maximum potential. These grants you the maximum power of your chi called mastered element. These elements are almost infinite and have a huge variety of powers and are known as your true chi. These elements are unique to one individual at a time. Some of the mastered elements are the following:

• Gold Chi: That with gold chi is bonded to the element of power. This element can give the owner raw power in combat. This has no weakness.
  
• Gravity Chi: That with gravity chi is bonded to the element of gravity. This element can give the owner the ability to change gravity and manipulate it. This has no weakness.
  
• Spatial Chi: That with spatial chi is bonded to the element of space. This element can warp, bend, flip, crush, control and otherwise manipulate physical aspects of space within an area. This has no weakness.
  
• Poison Chi: That with Poison chi is bonded to the poison element. This element has the power to internally damage the enemy and debuff them easily. This has no weakness.
  
• Kinetic Chi: That with kinetic chi is bonded to the kinetic element. This element can make things move faster or slower to gain more or reduce their strength or speed.
  
• Sound Chi: That with sound chi is bonded to the sound element. This element can generate sound waves to damage the enemy in different ways.
  
• Explosive Chi: That with explosive chi is bonded to the explosive element. This element can generate many type of explosions instantly.
  
• String Chi: That with string chi is bonded to the string element. This element can be manipulated by creating it and then moving them freely to deal strong slashing attacks or move objects.
  
• Time Chi: That with time chi is bonded to the element of time. This element can manipulate the time in general area or a specific target in various manners.
  
• Plant Chi: That with plant chi is bonded with plants. This element can create, shape and manipulate plants, including wood, vines, plants, moss, and parts of the plants, such as leaves, seeds, fruits and flowers.
  

Since the mastered elements are unique, when reaching level 6, you can choose to take an existing one or to make your own. However, the staff will have to approve your element and will be strictly handled before being approved.

Now, how to reach higher levels in Chi? Your chi level will always be equal to your rank. Rookie equals level 1 in Chi, Apprentices have a level 2 in Chi, Veterans have a level 3 in Chi, Talented have a level 4 in Chi, Powerhouses have a level 5 in Chi, Masters have a level 6 in Chi and Grandmasters have a level 7 in Chi.
