PostSubject: Enryu vs. Marilynn   Tue Jan 12, 2016 4:59 am

Out in the snow covered tundra of Marzinpole Leonard sparked his cigarette as he prepared to start the match. Both the contestants where to his left and right at a distance of about 10 meters, making the distance between each other about 22 meters. Leonard looked to Marilynn and then Enryu and said "I want a clean fight, this is the finals so have a bit of flare! The whole world is watching this fight so go and make your parents proud." Leonard would take the last puff out of his cigarette before it got down to the filter and he dropped it on the ground in front of him. The camera crew was out ready to catch all the action. Leonard told the camera man to stand in front of him as he began to start the match. He looked straight into the camera and said "To my left we have Marilynn, and to my right we have Enryu. Only one fighter can win lets see who prevails, now fight!" Leonard would then teleport from the battleground to watch from a distance.

The instant the fight would be declared as officially started, Enryu would step forward a bit, dashing seven meters at a little less than half his speed. The plan was to make the distance between them fifteen meters, instead of twenty two. He had yet to achieve the sort of speed necessary for nullifying such distances, but it was nice to be able to confidently assume that he could make the distance between them much smaller without having to worry about being overwhelmed. After all, with very little exception, he had proven himself quite the speedster among the students of this school. To go in knowing that he was the fasted would be idiotic, but to go in without the confidence of something that had been proven time and time again would be moronic in its own right. With the distance between them reduced to a mere 15, he would wait to see how she would react before he did anything else, while continuing to move to keep the distance between them 15 meters.

Prior to the match start, Lain had been toying with her necklace, feeling the cold metal in her palms as they waited. She had planned to keep it saved for later, especially since the world was watching and she figured she would need something to spice things up later. After the headmaster finished speaking, calling the fight to begin, Lain would move three meters towards her opponent, taking her time with long strides while still maintaining caution towards the sophomore. She would take in the surrounding area as they settled, 15 meters apart. Snow had surround them even before the start, though it wasn't too high. It wasn't stopping their movement by much - if at all. Leonard had already left the area, leaving just the two and the camera crew. She would take three steps closer, watching her opponent compensate for her own gain. She would laugh lightly at this, before commenting out loud how about they'd never get anything done if he kept backing away. She shifted her weight slightly more to her right foot, preparing herself for a rush attack as she awaited a response from him.

As Lain decided to move herself forward once more, Enryu decided that it was time to shrink the distance between them once more. He would move forward at about half his speed again, making the resting distance between them ten meters, and holding it tight. Depending on how she moved from this point out, he would once again move to match her own movement. Lain seemed much stronger than she had originally come across, and at her words he had only grinned in response, not allowing himself to be distracted. They were locked in a chess match, and he was going to have to get her in checkmate soon. This fight was about to begin, and he was wondering if he was prepared for what was going to take place shortly.

HP: 77 (It's suppose to be 11 but Leo is being lazy, however he did approve me to use my post-training stats. So defense is 11, speed is 25, strength is 25)

She needed to get closer, Lain determined. As Enryu shrunk the gap to ten meters, it was getting clearer who would initiate the fight. He was playing with caution it seemed, keeping his distance until he determined it okay to come closer. Her only options were either move or not. As of that moment, neither had a consequence. If she moved, it would more than likely just be a shift in their positions as she could expect him to keep separate. Despite this, her next action would be to move again at a quarter of her speed, advancing two more meters before halting. Her next action would depend primarily on how her opponent decided to move, but for the meantime she'd set herself to attack, readying herself should he step in range.

As the girl began to move forward, Enryu decided it was time. Instantly, he'd activate his shoes and dash forward three meters at his maximum speed. This action would take place in .109 seconds, faster than Lain could even follow. However, with the three meters covered, Enryu would activate a blinding light that would take away the girls vision. While the blinding light would be activating, Enryu would simultaneously dash forward two meters, making the total distance between them three meters. With three meters between them, Enryu would activate a technique to yank the girl forward, while simultaneously dashing forward the final three meters. This final dash forward for those three meters would be at a total of 30.5 m/s, which meant that the entire thing had happened would take place in .277 seconds, making her still very blinded. While she'd be able to try to activate some techniques, she'd now be subject to Enryu's full onslaught. He'd send two punches for her stomach, a right and then a left. From there, he'd sweep a kick at her leg while using his Pause ability to keep her from physically moving. With that final technique affecting her, meaning her only hope would be to try to spam out some sort of spells, he would send a flurry of punches and kicks that were faster than the eye could see at his now close-range distance until Leonard ended the fight, or until she obviously lost conscious.

Lain could only blink once in the time it took Enryu to move forward, her eyes widening as her vision was flooded with light and things went dark. She was still conscious, though disoriented as she started to shift herself to defend over her chest. Her footing was caught by a pull in position, forward. She would've managed to keep her head level, though, and would start to step back while opening her left palm to reveal a flash of light that would at least stun her opponent long enough for her to gather herself as his fists hit her stomach, causing her to fall to the ground with her footing lost. Her vision would begin its return as she would attempt to roll away, narrowly avoiding the kick that would've hit her upper leg and stood as his senses would be returning. She would use a technique to boost her speed and run back without restraint to put five meters between them once again. At the same time, her hands would've bolted up to her necklace, the glow of its jewel leading into its change to a staff. She would then turn, running back towards him at full speed in attempts to get closer as she pushed forward her own technique, her own being the center of the disturbance of energy in the air. After it hit, dealing its damage, she would continue forward, creating five blades of wind at 2 meters directed towards him, pausing just long enough to ensure that they'd hit before she approached before resuming her path towards him and, upon reaching a meter she would swing her staff at his torso, enhancing her attack with the push of wind.

As Enryu's punches landed upon her frame, it seemed that Lain had tried to copy one of his techniques- Very successfully, might one add. Enryu felt his vision leave him, but only to a certain extent. After all, he could still very much so feel her location. As his sight left him, he seemed to make a mental map of his area, the very changing of the atmosphere, wind pressure and vibrations of the world around him seemed to paint a picture that was as vibrant as what his eyes could make. The surprise, however, was real, allowing her fall to aid in her dodging his kick, which was a hopeful double wammy. Despite his pause not hitting her, it seemed she relied too much on his lack of vision. As she rolled over and began to run from him, slightly faster now, he would not hesitate at all. Dashing forward, he'd catch her in the blink of an eye. From behind, there was little she could do. Drilling his fist into the back of her skull, he would hope to knock her off her balance. Then, he would send another kick, this one placed for her side. There was very little chance of her avoiding that, with her feet not fully on the ground. As his foot would connect, he would activate a static burst, lifting her three meters in the air. As she'd lift into the air, he would grab her feet and turn, using her momentum and himself as a lever to swing her to the other side, slamming her into the ground and effectively ending the battle.

Lain was, to say the least, surprised when Enryu had ran after her. He shouldn't have even known of her movement, much less be able to follow her without some stumbling unless he had blinked or... something. As his fist connected with the back of her skull, she knew it was all over. She stumbled, unable to block the surprise maneuver, and was effectively kicked into the air afterwards. She stopped fighting as his hands caught her feet and swung her across the field. Now on the ground and breathing heavy, the damage was done. In physical fighting, combining his strength and speed, it was clear that he would be the winner. Lain hadn't the chance to perform any damaging techniques, something that severely put her down. She'd reach up for her necklace, it changing to its staff form as she was planning to do even before she was caught. Using it as a support to bring her back to her feet and keep herself there, she held up a finger to signal a pause for her to gain back her breath. "I was planning on using this later... 'Flare' and all, you know?" She smiled, shaking her head as she brought up Leonard's earlier statement. "But it looks like you didn't give me the chance. You're quick, strong, and somehow had a way of stopping my technique from hindering you. Combine that against me, well, look where I am now... One more full swing from you and I'm down for good... Considering I don't want that to happen, I think I'm good right here in second." She turned towards the camera crew, her smile broadening just a tad as she spoke the results for everyone viewing, "I, Marilynn Spare, declare Enryu the winner of the finals."
