The Lizard Man! [Job]

If there was one thing that Vladimir Anthony Vista loved more than anything was the Research club. Hell, if the kid were to be honest with himself he loved the Research club more than his own family but that was only because the Research club wouldn't yell at him or call him trash. The club is where he could escape all of his worries and just let his mind free, no matter what has happened to him that time or day. The Research club has also helped Vlad gain countless friends, making his time here much more easier than when he lived alone by himself at his grandfather with no real friends. Recently he has made another friend named Rino that is also a freshman as well as apart of the Research club with Vlad. They spent many days after class together in the lab where the club is allowed too be when classes aren't going on. However lately Vlad had noticed that someone was wrong with his friend. After introducing an experiment that used reptile DNA, Vlad's friend that he would help but sadly he was juggling with a lot seeing as he had more than one club to do things with. After denying the request to help his fellow researcher, Vlad's noticed that his friend has gotten a bit more erratic. He had been more feral and not the quiet person he was and Vlad swore that one day he saw a scale like rash on his buddy's arm that was quickly hidden from him. Vlad hoped that Rino wasn't injecting himself with the reptile DNA that he was experimenting with, as everyone knew that nothing good could come out of it.

Vladimir thought today would be the day that he would actually approach Rino and see what was going on with him. First, however, he had business to attend with the schools student council, the second club that he was in besides the Research club. He was currently stuck with another member of the student council that he had recently befriended thanks to the club and her name was Ami. Despite not talking to her much or seeing her much, she was a junior, he thought she was a pretty cool chick. If he liked girls at all he would probably have the hugest crush on her right now, seeing how beautiful she was as well. He hoped that she thought that he was at least a decent freshman. "Hey Ami! I have to stop by the Research club, want to come with? he would ask with a smile, whatever she would saw he would smile and leave the student councils office into the hallway leading towards the Research club. Vlad knew that Rino would be there and hoped that he hadn't did anything that would put him into more danger than he could already be in. After a few more minutes of walking, they finally reached the door to the Research club. "I'm going to drop in for just a second, I'll be right back out Vlad said as he opened the door and slipped right into the dark room. "You here, Rino? Vlad said as he carefully tiptoed before jumping as he heard a loud thump.

"Vladddss? a familiar voice said with a heavy hissing sound, could something otherworldly be in here? Well whatever it was it sounded very scary. "is that you Rino? Vlad said just as he finally managed to see the back of his body hovering over several beakers. "There you are Rino! I got so worried, what's up with you? Vlad laughed nervously but completely shutting up as his friend turned around and looked at him. Most of Rino's body was now covered in scales and his eyes yellow with reptile like pupils. Vlaadddsss~ Rino said with his thick hissing voice before making his way towards Vlad, who would constantly yell stay back loud enough for Ami to hear in the hallway.

It was a relatively quiet afternoon, having just gotten out of the student council meeting they had that day. While she had enjoyed her clubs, it was often mentally exhausting and fortunately, she did not have any plans this day so she would be able to simply go home and rest. Taking out her phone and plugging in her headphones on the trip back to her dorm, Amira began to quietly hum along to the song which was playing. However another member of the student council, Vladimir Vista had also tried to pin her down. He appeared to be a nice young man, however, she wasn't what you call close friends yet. He had invited her to walk with him to his next club, a well known and respected club that was known as the research club. "Oh hello, Vladimir." She greeted as she continued to walk. "I'll walk with you to the entrance of the research room, but I can't stay. Perhaps another day?" While she did not wish to be rude, she simply did not wish to spend time with anyone at this point in time. These were the days she would prefer to simply spend by herself rather than others. "Thank you for the offer though." As they reached the door to the research club, he told her that he would have to pop in the research room before she would even be able to bid a farewell. Deciding to leave him be, she would begin to walk away when a scream entered her ears. There was also a slight hiss coming from the research room. What was happening there? Was Vladimir in danger? She would go towards the direction of the research room and find herself staring at a giant lizard man.

Without a second's hesitation, her reflexes kicked in. Grabbing the back of Vladimir's collar and jerking him back as fast as she could, she hissed out a command. "Get back." The lizard... no being swung its tail in their direction, knocking any beakers that were in the way in once swift motion. Shards of glass filled the air but she would only be able to grit her teeth as she felt the rough shards fly, leaving several small cuts on her face. "That thing... what is that?" She heard it hiss again, making a sound that almost sounded like a word. Wait... it was a word. Was it Vladimir's name? Did the two beings have a connection somehow? Fiercely whispering to Vladimir her instincts came to mind. "Whatever that thing is, it is not your friend. If you want your friend back we have to go to the medical ward if we need some help have any chance fixing your friend You don't have to kill him, just kill him, knocking him out will work. Don't hesitate to attack, he will not even blink before he will turn us into mince meat. Don't let your own emotions get into your way. Now go! I'll support you." From what she had observed so far of the lizard, it was fast. In order to even land a hit on it, Vladimir needed speed. Without a single movement, she had cast her technique. He would soon find it easier to move around, therefore increasing his speed. However, if it would match the creature would still remain a mystery.

It was crazy, what was the thing in front of him? It looked like his friend Rino but with more scales and... and a tail? Vlad was right, Rino must have been objecting himself with the lizard DNA this whole time! However he couldn't think about right now, Rino no the lizard was currently about to attack him and rip his head off. "I can't move! Vlad said to himself in haste as his feet seemed to be stuck on the floor from the pure fear of looking at his now mostly lizard friend. Vladimir thought he was a goner but then he felt a grip on his collar that jerked him from the direction of the attack, at first he didn't think about the person who did it but was just glad that he had managed to live from the moment. As sheer fear and panic filled his eyes, his heart beat out of control, and sweat fell into his eyes Vladimir finally managed to look too see that it was his friend Ami. Just as he was about to speak, lizard Rino swung his tail causing all the beakers in his direction to break and fly towards them. He shielded his face just as the glass reached them, causing several leaves to cause small guts and even a few pieces to lodge themselves into his arm. [b]"I have to save him but how?[/color] He thought to himself just as Ami spoke "That is my friend Rino, he is also in the Research club he replied as he thought of multiple ways to try to subdue his friend but he couldn't. However, Ami chimed in just the right moment telling Vlad that he had to take his friend to the medical ward but to do that he had to knock him out. "that's just great" Vlad said as he gulped and looked at the rapidly approaching lizard man. He didn't do anything nor did he see Ami do anything but he suddenly felt himself around him, he might have asked what was it but he remember Ami's words of she would support him.

Vlad straightened his posture and tried to quell the fear that presented itself through his eyes, he had to defeat it before it killed him, Ami, or anyone else in the school. "I'm coming to get you Vladddssss the Monster said as it debarred towards him and Ami. "Sorry Rino but I have to get you to the medical ward! Vlad said as he used his new speed to rush towards while channeling chi into his fist. Vlad and the lizard both yelled as their fish collided, causing a three meter shockwave that would cause all breakers and class to shatter. The shockwaves would probably also cause Ami to be knocked back a little. Vlad and the Lizard, who were caught in the center of the wave, would be sent flying back, crashing into the wall. A loud hissing sound came from the wall the lizard was as he quickly recuperated and made his way towards Ami now from his wall that was ten meters away from her. "no you don't! Vlad said as he managed to pry himself from his indent in the wall that was left of Ami, directing his left hand at the Lizard who was about seven meters from Ami. The young Vista would channel chi into a finger before flicking it loose, creating a cone shaped six by six shockwave. The Lizard would send out a screeching hiss as the attack hit it and sent it flying through several shelves before narrowly avoiding the window by the wall by just a few feet. Vlad dislodged himself from the wall, weakly putting up his hands as he prepared for the Lizard too attack again but all he heard was silence. When he looked through all of the wreckage, he could see that the thing was very much knocked out cold, a good thing for them. "Looks like we did it Ami! Now let's take him to the ward to get him back to normal Vlad said as he wiped blood from his mouth and walked over to the body of his mutated friend, picking him up and walking towards the door.

It was as if everything had happened in a blur. Shortly after the support she had given Vladimir, it began to menacingly approach the two of them. Yet in the situation where it was likely they would not survive or at the very least become seriously injured in the process, she simply stared at the creature without a single emotion reflected on her face. Not a single fear reflected upon her face as she looked at the lizard creature and she had simply smiled at it. Forcing her voice to stay quiet, almost as if she were talking to a young child she spoke. "It will be ok. Don't worry." It was highly unlikely this reptile would even listen to her but it appeared to be enough time for Vladimir to attack. A human fist connecting the scaled fist, a shockwave had come out of this action, knocking her against the wall roughly. While it did not cause too severe injuries, it had knocked the wind out of her lungs sending her into a large coughing fit. However, she was still aware of what was happening the fight was still ongoing however it was quick. It would then spot her and crawl towards her. Her calm demeanor began to melt as panic replaced every emotion she felt. However, fortunately, Vladimir had let out another shockwave which had fortunately not affected her as well which caused the lizard man to hit the wall.

For a few moments, everything was silent. No one moved a muscle and not a single sound was heard. Was it over? Was this small skirmish against this reptile finally at its end? It wasn't until Vladimir himself announced this was over when she finally allowed herself to take a deep breath. Amira smiled at him. "Well then, this wasn't how I was expecting to spend my afternoon but it wasn't such a bad idea after all." Taking a look at Vladimir, she shook her head. "I'll try to carry him myself. You on the other hand also will need a trip to the infirmary. You don't look like you're in good shape as well." As he approached the door, Ami would try to grab the lizard from him. If he would let her do so, she would try her best to carry the lizard to the infirmary despite her strength. If he refused, she would simply try to help carry him. Regardless, she would end up trying to somewhat carry his unconscious friend. She did not want to burden Vladimir anymore, especially after he had managed to save the both of them from a grisly fate. Sighing, she would wonder what she would be doing after the infirmary. There was only one desire in his mind at this point, and it was to simply go back to her dorm and finished the mystery novel which she had bought the other day.
